Privacy Policy
Updated July 24, 2026
GnomeVPN is a VPN service built on the Hysteria2 protocol. It is designed to know as little about you as possible: browsing history is never collected and is physically stored nowhere.
What we collect
Only what the service cannot run without: an email address and a hashed password for signing in; subscription details such as the plan and its expiry; a device identifier the app generates itself, unrelated to any advertising ID; and the country you picked.
Connection logs
We keep no logs of your traffic. Visited addresses, DNS queries, connection contents and browsing history are never recorded. Nodes count transferred bytes only, which is how an active session is told apart from an abandoned one so device slots can be freed.
Payments
Payments are handled by YooKassa. Card details are processed by the payment provider — we never receive or store them. Our side keeps only the fact of payment, its amount, the subscription period and, if auto-renewal is on, the payment method identifier issued by YooKassa.
Where data is stored
Account data is stored on servers in Russia. Passwords are kept as irreversible hashes. Device and config records are removed together with the subscription or on your account deletion request.
Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or share your data. The exceptions are the payment provider needed to process a payment, and cases where disclosure is explicitly required by law.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account entirely. Email us at the address below — requests are handled within 30 days.
Children
The service is not intended for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
